Thumbs up Great product and service

I ordered one for my Ultra Monday (03/30) and it arrived this morning (Wed. 4/1). Quick delivery! I am also very impressed with the quality. It is a very thick, high quality leather. It is stiched with a soft back (suede?) so as not to scratch any bike surface it comes in contact with. He threw in 2 can coolies (nice customer appreciation touch ).

One word of warnig to all the guys out there, if you put it to your credit card the charge will show up on your statement as "TENNESEEHO". I made sure I showed that to the wife so I wouldn't have to explain it later after a solo trip somewhere LOL

I dunno ...this product doesn't look nearly as nice on the bike as the 'got fried thighs' design.

Plus, I wouldn't order anything with the word 'crotch' in it from a 'Capitan Itch'.

To each his own, I guess, but for the money this was the best for me and I am pleased.

Ok man, wasn't bagging on you - just stating my opinion. Glad you are happy.

It's nice to have options - IMO, The ones from http://www.rjsoriginals.com/ look way better and are customized for the lines of the bike. They don't look like a leather baby bib. They are only $30-$50 more as well.

I didn't think you were bagging on me.

I agree the rjoriginal ones contour the lines of the bike better. I am very new to riding and I have already burnt the crap out of my right thigh once.

When I looked at both models Itches looked like it offered more protection and easer to install and remove and RJ's was $70 more (twice the price). I don't know how long or if I will keep it on year round so I went for the more coverage least expensive one.

Yeah I hear ya. I tell ya man, I burned my thigh REALLY bad when I first bought my bike ..that thing got hot! After my 1000 mile service, I put synthetic oil in it ...that cooled it down, and now after I got my stage 1 done, I don't need any heat shields at all. I went cheap too and got the Kuryakyn heat shields, I just removed them the other day. So stage 1 upgrade and synth oil will REALLY help your heat problems.

I've considered building a reservoir to put in front of the engine...this could relocate the oil tank..and be used as an oil cooler as well.
