Default New pipes on the Deluxe

Wife had me lower her scoot last year, and in doing so, the Vance and Hynes side shot exhaust system dragged when she turned right. We decided to go with a 2 into 1 system, and started looking at all we could find, as she is not about performance, simply about looks.

I checked out so many brands, and sent her pics of all of them, took her to see as many as we could find on bikes, and I had thought we did pretty well in seeing all the different 2 into 1 setups on a softail. Only brand I never saw on a bike was the Cobra.

Well...After talking to alot of metric shops, and to a Cobra service rep, we decided to give them a try. We bought the Pro Pipe HP and could not be happier.

We never see Cobra's on our bikes, and I have yet to find a post where someone put them on, but they have the best warrenty that I have found, thier chrome is second to none, and the change in power surprised me.

I also added a RideMaxx fuel manegement system, and although I have not yet loaded the correct maps, the ones installed at the factory make this bike run like a raped ape.

These pipes ROCK.

So if you are looking for a sweet setup, with great sound, and power, take a look at the Cobra line of pipes, you just might be surprised.

( I don't work for, or have any dealings with Cobra other than as a one time customer, that WILL buy thier product again for MY bike..)

Like the look of the Cobra 2 in 1 pipes on the Deluxe and if they perform well like you say and sound good I might give them a try. Where did you buy them from? Also, where did you get the back rest for the Deluxe I've been looking for something like that?

Looks really nice. How's the sound compared to some of the others like Rush, Rinehart? I've been considering the D&D Fat Cat 2-1. I have pics of fat cat on softails and it hangs a bit lower than the floorboard. It has to scrape on tight right turns. The pipe on your bike sits even with the floorboard.

The sound is a nice rumble, not obnoxiously loud, but definatly can be heard. They are quieter than the Side Shots that she had on the bike, but louder than my Screamin Eagles on the Ultra. I would say the sound is comperable to the D&D Fatcats ( I have a friend that runs those)

It sounds like a harley. You can go to the Cobra Website and listen to the sound of thier pipes..
