Default Apes wont stay tight!

Just installed the gooden tite poly bushing kit on my flstsc to eliminate the play in my apes. Everything was fine today until my bars became loose again! When i put everything together i made sure it was tight as possible. should i consider welding my bars to my risers to eliminate the play? Any suggestions? thanks

I've used the emory cloth, but now have cut a couple of thin strips from an aluminum can and wrapped the bars with that.Seems to work better so far

Should the grit of the emory cloth face the bars or face the risers when using it?
