Have seen proper "one off custom builds" with tank lifts and they are beautiful,
Gorgeous x-bones though....and it is your bike you paid for it so thats all that matters

You'll lose some since the tank is angled. The Rocker/Deuce tank's shape screams for a tank lift.
Fat bob tanks already have the nice flowing lines and don't need a lift, but that is the owner's choice.
The fuel line on the Rocker is located further back and so not as much gas is dead space. I chose a 2" lift for both less wasted fuel and to keep from exposing the ugly support under the tank.
