Default Night ride and no lights

Whent up to the Leesburg Bike Fest This after noon. WOW! That place is getting more crowded every year. Here's my problem, Rode the bike to work this morning everything working fine, Go to Leesburg (25 mile ride), Hang out for a while ahve a brew or two. I've been up since 0400 hrs so I'm getting a little tired so I go to get on the bike and the headlight and the spot lights (Herifage) don't come on. By this time it's way after dark and I got 25 miles of dark hiway to travel. So I do a quick check and all other lights work so I try the high beam, it comes on. Great, at least I can make it home. I'm wondering if this could just be a blown bulb. Is the spot lights wired in the same circuit as the low beam? And I was just recently thinking about replacing the sealed beam to an H-4 type halogen. Now I have a good excuse.

Did you check the fuse. Same thing happen to me. It was a fuse. Fuse box is under the seat, there should be a spare in there too.

Thanks, yes I checked it but I didn't think it was the fuse because the fuse links all the lights. All the lights still work except the low beam and the spots.

Have you had the switch housing apart on the LH side?

Check the wires running Through the cowbell to the headlight. My 05 wires rubbed into the cowbell and shorted out causing the fuse to blow. Could be one of the wires is cut into.
