I can sure appreciate all the work that went into that, and it's definitely one of a kind...but I gotta be honest and say, I'm not feelin' it...but nevertheless, kudos to you for originality and clean work...
Thanks for all the positive comments and suggestions. A different kind of Night Train was definitely my goal with this, as everyone else with a Train has been going the Heartland route. If you've seen Sucker Punch Sallys' Swinger bikes, you'll see where some of my inspiration came from.
Looks good, and the satin paint goes well with it. But is the front fender a different color than the tank, or is it just the pic?
I'm sure there is a difference in color, as the tank is still stock. The fenders and tins have been powder coated. And there really is no way to match it unless I take the tank off and send it to the same powder coater. That will come at a later date when when I throw on a custom paint job, but for now, it works for me.
Oh, the tank also has Pig Spit on it. So it's got a lil' shine to it. Haven't put any chemicals on the fresh powder coat yet. Not a good thing.
