That is very true...probaby $100 to go that way.

I can't wait to see those pictures...I really want to try this mod...it looks really good.

Getting rid of that chrome box and seat post really cleans everthing up and shows off the motor...they should've made them that way from the factory IMHO.

couldn't agree more! It makes a world of difference. The back cylinder has to be getting a ton more air having the postanx big cover removed from the side, atleast you would think. I'm convinced this is a great mod!

This looks really good. I have been thinking about doing something similar for ages but was put off by the mess of mounting plates for the coil on the seat post. I didn't realise you could just ditch the seat post all together

Did you use all the stock wiring, or did you need longer wires to relocate the coil? Are those 90degree coil ends on the plug wires or straight?

I can forsee some more quality time being spent in my garage very soon!

Must be something wrong with the fuel valve, you should get a few drops of fuel when it is disconnected. Unless you just had trouble getting it off?

Yeah, at the petcock you get a few drops. The pain in the *** part when fuel goes everywhere is when you unplug the cross-over line that goes under the neck of the frame (above the front cylinder) There is no shut off when you pull that line and you end up with two holes (one on each side of the tank) pissing gas and you have no hands left to plug the lines!!

I never could find them online either, thats why I made my own. Way more economical considering all you need is new plug wires.
