They're older Willie & Max's. I've had them for about 20 years, and they've been on a few of my bikes.
Been a great bag.

When they have FX in the designation they are different than FL models. They are apparently more dainty with a smaller front end (derived from a Sportster size, or an old Springer) and everything else is smaller, too, but the big honkin motor. You remember the Super Glide, that was the first FX to my knowledge. A 74 CID Big Twin with a Sportster front end.

I put my neighbors fat bay seat on my 04 std and it fit fine . did you take out the two side bolt on the frame and bolt it down like on a fatboy?? oh his was /is a 03 my current seat is a mustang for up to 97 or something only diff. is the front tongue has to be bent down a little..

I had a seat issue with mine too. I took the steel bracket for the fender bolt off and moved it back a little bit so that the front of the seat would be tight against tank.

Don't know about the TC seats but the evo ones have little brackets on the sides of the solo seat that bolt to the frame.
