I have a 03 NT with detachable sissy bar. Is there a detachable saddle bag support that will work wit hmy setup? Dont want to have to keep any of those on permanatly. They very expensive? Thanks alot!

Make sure whomever you get detachable saddlebags from you indicate you have a detachable sissy bar and want to keep it. There mounting hardware is definitely different for Boss Bags!

I was checking out a ebay item and thought I needed the bars to keep the bags away from the wheel.

I use the Kuryaken throw over soft bags (http://www.cycleluggage.com/kuryakyn_80018.html). They don't require any support bar and I just take the seat off, throw them over the fender and put the seat back on. I wrap a couple of the accessory strap around the passenger pegs and go. They fit a laptop and a couple days clothes perfectly.

Check out Boss Bags. I have a pair of quick detach Boss Bags and a quick detach back rest and they can live together easily. Ready for the road and in a few minutes ready to strip it all off and cruise the city and be really cool.
Of course I'm really cool anyway.
