Default Exhaust question...

I want to drop the baffles in my V&H BSS, and have been thinking about a few replacement ideas. I've heard good things about BCT Monster Baffles, but I was also curious as to what people think about just using torque/power cones. Keep in mind, I want loud.

I too have the same issue except with the one of a kind big radius lol. I was thinking of cutting the stock baffles in half... Anybody think it will do anything to the sound or should i just keep the stock baffles alone and get the BCT ones?

I've heard the monster baffles are good, I guess I am just curious if going with cones will have any adverse effects? I mean, they are cheap, so I can always try them, and if I don't like them I can put regular baffles back in. I just want to make sure I'm not doing anything bad to the engine by going with cones instead of regular baffles.

Torque cones are installed too high up the pipe to actually give you any kind of back pressure (performance gain with no baffles) they are mainly installed so that exiting exhaust does not get sucked back into the exhaust port.

Had the BCT's in the samson short slashers and loved em'.

Had the TC's in the samson's and hated em'.

Made em' sound "tinny". I'd pass on em'.

Good enough for me. I think I'm going to go with the BCT's. I do not want that tinny sound.

The folks at BCT are very helpful and will assist in any way possible.
