I photoshoped some HD bags on to see how it would look. What do you think?

 

My buddies wife put hard bags on her delux

 

yes the plate mount will have to go. the brackets use your existing struts, and use your strut/fender mount holes. the stock hard bags will clear the exhaust you have pictured with no problem.

 

sorry, you might have to use the stock fender struts. did'nt realize yours were shortened.

 

Just completed the change over. Cycle Visions brackets, 1994 FLH bags with new paint. I am thinking maybe some V&H Long shots instead of the Samson BG3 Cannons. The bike being lowered she drags the pipes, plus I would like them to extend rearward more. Also get or make panel fillers. What do you think? Any ideas?

looks good, I have the long shots and they do sit futher back but are just as low, I plan on getting the true duals but the dont sit any higher. as far as the filler panel goes I am doing the Streetglide panel on my fatboy.
