is that a chrome backing plate or stock? I want to change out the stock backing plate to a chrome one since it shows with the round cover. If you did change it, how simple or difficult was it? haven't really looked close enough to see what is involved

it's a chrome backing plate and if you follow the instruction (link to .pdf above) then it's really very easy.

any reason for getting a stage 2 over a stage 1 breather? are you going to change heads and cams?

stage 2 is good for cam and head changeover while stage 1 is good for pipes he must be messing with the motor to get a stage 2. stage 2 has 20% to 30% more airflow. When changing over just pipes stage 1 is recomended
