I think you can use the same back plate and just get a filter for $49 and sell your filter on ebay for as much or more. then you can use the football cover or get open style. I think you will find more choices with the stage one filter cover.

fublknchrm the size may be incorrect for you and may not be what anyone else considers idea for my current setup and future plans but here's what I do know so let me impart this wisdom on your dumb a$$. The stage II is fine for my setup as long as I have the air intake and fuel management calibrated and that's exactly what I've done.

I knew your intentions this morning and I played along anyway and now you're showing what a true a$$ you really are. Don't ever run across my path or you'll be picking up some of your teeth. I'm done with you and you're back on ignore. And don't worry I will show this the the mods and they can suspend/ban me if they want.

Does anyone know for sure if the backing plate is the same on the stage one and two AN kit? Are the filters interchangable?

I'm not sure but I thought the stage II was bigger, both the back plate and the filter, than the stage I?

It's a piece of cake. I bought the chrome S/E plate. You'll need a deep socket. I forget the size, I think it's 7/16".....? and not much to it. You'll see a wire connected on the rear of the stock housing, just zip-tie it up out of the way.
