it does, the standard softail's length is 6". the deuce and rocker need 7", but they can be found. I have a 2" tank lift, so the 9" one from the touring should be perfect. we will see!

Wait, maybe my math SUX, but if you raise the tank 2" shouldn't that mean you'll need a line that's almost 4" (2" for each side) longer, not 2" longer?

i don't think so?? it is just one line. i also measured my existing hose that was on the tank, and that was approx 9" so i think it will be good.

I know its just one line, I replaced mine with a braided one. Then had to pull the tank off again (broke the feed line that time $%^&$%$), and put a rubber one back on cause it was a lot easier to deal with.

I was just saying that raising the tank 2" means that the line has to go down 2" then back up 2" (approximatly) to hook up on the the other side.

So its not going to need a true 2" increase. But something in the range of 2 to 4" increase (probably around 3").

If I were in your shoes I would cut up some cheap or scrap vacume line I have laying around to fit right. Then pull it out and measure that to be sure I get what I really need instead of guessing.

Any speed shop sells braided line... probably 5 bucks for what you guys need. Or free as its probably a useless piece layin around. I realize it didnt come out of a catalog though...
