I had a buddy paint his custom pearl white with white ghost flames and what I liked about it was that you had to stand a certin way to see them. You didn't focus on them at first but just as you were about to walk away from it, the paint would bring you back. To bad he parked it and a drunk ran it over.

I finally made my mind up. I am going to go with the same base color (Pacific Blue Pearl) and I am going to do two different ghost flames. The first one will be pretty close to the base. It is going to be a blue pearl and the ghost flame that is going on top of that one is going to be Ghost pearl, which is a shade of silver. I am trailering my bike to Fayetteville, NC tomorrow to my paint guy which is about 2 hours away and he said he will have it ready for pick up by Saturday at the latest. I can't wait to see it with the chopped fender and new paint. As soon as I get it back, you all know that I will post pics for you. Hopefully it will be as good as I'm thinking in my head.

 

I went to my paint shop today and unfortunately he had only started spraying the base coat, but assured me that he would finish it by friday and it would be ready for pick up saturday. My heartland swingarm plate holder came in too and it looks great. I'll keep ya'll posted with pictures asap.
