Default Mounting a power commander on a deuce?

HI guys

Well i'm going to pull the trigger on a PCIII and was wondering if anybody could tell me if mounting the PCII is any different on a deuce vs. any other softail? Where do most of the PCIII get mounted anyways. Is there a BEST SPOT or is there no diffence?

Thanks

what model deuce do you have?

if you have a 2009 deuce you will need the PC V
2008 or earlier deuces can use the PC III but I would honestly still suggest looking into the PC V. It is smaller and more up to date.

If you end up still going for the PC III you will most likely have to install it behind the mud guard under the front of the rear fender...make sure you read the instructions that PC sends out with the PCIII, they will list the different HD models and tell you where the best position is.

Most softails need to have it put behind that mud guard.

The PC V is so much smaller that most softails and have it fit under the seat on top of the battery....not sure if Rockers fall into this category.

lol
good luck

I had mine under the seat, snugly between the battery and ecm... If you haven't bought a pcIII yet, I have the one I had on my '01 I'll make a good deal on...

"behind the mud guard under the front of the rear fender...make sure you read the instructions that PC sends out" on how to mount and then "throw them away" because they are wrong. follow directions posted on HDforums or the video on utube.

Thanks guys

Deuce440 if you could post those pics that would rock.
It just looks so cramped under the seat and the photos in the directions fom dtno jet just blow. If you mount it between the fender and mud guard is it obvious were it goes? Or do you have to be creative?
