Rode both 800 miles on the bones and loved it, 1000 miles on the rocker and went for it.
But I have owned a heritage for 14 years and wanted something different.
Try both if you can, no offence but the x bones looks typical HD from 10 feet away or in the middle of the dealership. But the roc stands out. Depends on what you’re looking for.
Sorry not much help, I did buy a Rocker after the rides though...

how do you get more customizing with it.....fits everything but deuce/rocker.........................dont get me weong the rocker l;ooks kick *** with the heartland kit on it ............but so did the duece

IMO both are great looking bikes....
XB= Old
Rock= New
I bought the XB because I like the Old School Bobber look and felt it was a good start
I'm in the process of putting a "Rock style" rear fender on my XB... sacrilege!!!
m i k e posted some great looking Rocks... I think it's a great start for a modern HD chopper.. I love the look with the Heartland kit...
so you need to ask yourself the question what kind of cool you are...
If I had the money I would have one of each!
