Gosh this subject has been beat to death.
SD Night Train I read that thread you posted and it is borderline BS.
What part of that thread is BS? Its straight from the guy who designed them

This subject is about like religion or politics, it will always have different people with different views, and most won't agree with the other. No since in arguing about it, believe what you believe, and do what makes you happy. Can't we all just get along??!!

I hear you....I simply dont trust the dealers anymore and since there have been no reasons to not trust the XiED I see no reason to not trust them

Yeah, I have poked around on their website and they seem to have some very good knowledge on what they are doing. If I hadn't already had the stage 1 done, I would probably try them out. Oh well.

mine arrived yesterday! The shipping was SUPER FAST!! I paid online Wednesday...and they came Friday evening. I installed them this evening. Went ok...but the pipes were a really tight fit. It was a pain in the $$$ to get them on... Removed floorboard...brake master cylinder...etc. Finally got them on. Now..my bike shoots fire!! I guess I have to adjust the carb?? Sounds good...looks good...I like them..paid $202 with shipping.

Just got mine re-tuned last week by Dave at JD's Cycle Works. My Hooker Troublemakers are the 5th set of pipes I've had on my bike and they are by far the best performing pipes I've had, and this includes 2 different sets of 2-1 pipes. See attached dyno sheet...
