Just about any dish soap will do a good job of cleaning bikes. I use Ajax on my Night Train. I couldn't believe how clean it came after the first use. The rear wheel, which has the black center, was a pain when trying to just wipe it down, but came clean real easy with Ajax. Took the brake dust and stains right off the black and bare aluminum. The bike looked almost brand new when I was done. That was back in September after riding through rain and letting it sit for a few days.

I used may different cleaners on my solid fatboy wheels when I had them. The trick is to clean them every couple of weeks to keep them looking good. Noxon is good, master formula, s100 polishing soap, mothers, and the lsit goes on. I have so many cleaning and polishing products that I can't come close to remmbering what they all are. I have also used nevr dull. For the pitting the s100 polishing soap did a killer job followed by any metal polish. The master formula also has a sealer that I would apply after polishing. I live near the ocean and once I got the wheels clean and took slight effort to keep them that way it was no big deal.
