Step 1) spray entire bike with "bike Bright" or "hog spit"

Step 2) hose off bike

Step 3) power up the leaf blower to dry and blow off excess water.

No wax, no pledge, Any polish or wax you use will actually spot up, like if you spill gas on your tank after using S100 detail and Wax...... it puts an artificial shine over denim.
Denim is not meant to be shiny or glossy.

Step 4) start bike and ride away, ride away real fast!!!

Do not!!! use crappy cheep walmart purple all purpose degrease or orange cleaner stuffs!! can damage chrome and discolor cam covers, derby and primary covers, spots up and discolors, etc.

I am a big fan of Harley vivid Black, but it was always getting spider scratches etc. Always buffing out and re waxing and polishing...... the denim is a no brainer.....as far as 5 years from now ???? I don't know yet. They do clear coat the denim as well. Just a FYI

Thanks,
I went and put down my deposit before I even checked your replies. Stoked! "as the kids would say". Added a bunch of options and my dealer had no broblem with me providing the pipes..Went in circles for 4 weeks with V&H, which I had good results on the 1200, but since Hooker is giving them away I figured what the heck. Most Hookers perform. Thanks 6165hd if I get gas on the tank...just speed dry it? Hey tonov12 I ordered the Trouble Makers also, with the high flow baffles. Do we even need baffles?
Was the fit and finish of the Hookers better or worse than you expected.?..any comments Thanks, Z ya zman
