My girlfriend introduced me to the Mr. Clean car wash kit a few seasons ago and I'm a convert. She is a total nut when it comes to caring for her bike so I figured it was safe and gave it a try. Prior to that I would break out the leaf blower. In case you're not familiar, the system relies upon a filter to remove minerals and impurities. Wash the bike, rinse and then rinse again with the filtered water. Walk away and come back in a little bit...dry as a bone with no water spots.
find yourself a old electrolux vacuum cleaner. take motor out and place into a large soup can and seal out ends and make a vent and blow end. ull get this at some resturant that buys premix soups and sauces.. works great.. BUT , if u add time and parts... cheaper to buy the blaster.. i purchased med one..gave the home made one away to a buddy. works great and multipurpose. great for inside car also. its got same motor as a vacuum cleaner. ull have to replace brushes evry 2-3 years or so depending how often u use it.
