Default PICS... new seat, what do you think? PICS!!!

Well, the stitching doesn't really look pink when you see it in person, but the flash of the camera gives it that look. It's a LePera 2-up Silhouette. All leather with gel in the drivers seating area. My only complaints were minor, and the biggest was that the label had been sewn to the side of the seat after I had asked for it to be excluded. I had hoped that the purpose of excluding the label would not offend the craftsmen in the LePera establishment, but rather contribute to my goal of achieving clean and uninterrupted lines on my bike. Apparently I'm not the first customer to make this request, and that added to my surprise when I saw it. Secondly, one of the two bolt-holes for the mounting bracket was full of some kind of adhesive that was obviously not supposed to be there. It took me about an hour to pick it all out with some dental tools and thread the mounting bolt in there. Also, one of the bolts should have been a little bit longer. I had to exclude using the provided washer because I couldn't get the bolt to bite.

The stitching looks fantastic, and the communication with LePera was very professional. Let me know what you think?.... JR

WOW, looks great! I would like to know how comfortable it is on the long haul. Looks better than a badlander.

Thanks, nope, not custom, just my new '09 I've been tinkering with all winter. We still have 10 feet of snow up here, so riding is still a few months away.

Ya, and I don't think the Badlander will work with my one-piece dash-panel. LePera had to notch-out the nose of the seat. In the Harley catalogue, it lists a bunch of seats that WONT work with my dash panel. See this link.

EDIT; Hmmmmmm, I didn't se the Badlander listed, my apologies, maybe it will work with the dash panel.

Looks fantastic! I can't decide on a solo: bare bones or silhouette. Love the bare bones look, but I bet the silhouette is more comfortable.
