Wow.... I just received a call from Lepera, and they are giving me a 20% credit, and they were VERY apologetic. They DID offer to allow me to send it back, but I'll keep it and hopefully when I get my "solo" seat made, I'll style it better for my bike.

Hey hpfatboy, I agree, the stock seat is SUPER COMFORTABLE, but I don't like the "Spanish-Lace" motif on the newer Fatty's. (also on the tank panel). Your seat looks better than the stock '09 seat (IMO). I'm told that the SE Springer seat will fit my bike, and they also have the long chrome dash panel that mine uses (hence the reason for customizing the nose on my seat). Hmmmmmm, wonder if I should look at one of those for more of a "long-ride" or "touring" type of seat?

Does anyone know if it's true that I CAN'T buy anything for a CVO bike without the serial (VIN) number of the bike? For example, if I DID want to buy the Screamin' Eagle Springer seat for my bike, would a dealer sell it to me? Guess I could just phone them..... JR

nice looking seat, not sure i would pay that amount of money though...unless it massages my *** while riding. I had the LePera BareBones and sold it, not sure why, but I guess I'm still looking for the "almighty seat" Another question I have is if flame or tribal stitching goes with the newer FatBoy graphics.
