I've been looking for a luggage rack for a solo seat for an 09 Fatboy and havent been able to find one, and was checking to see if anyone on here might know of a company that will make one. I had a motherwell solo rack on my 06 Dyna and I really liked it, but they dont show one on their website for an 09 model.

 

Mine is a gloss black solo rack now in the catalogue, only came out for 08 recently but don't think there is any issue with it fitting an 09

WAhog, great looking bike. What kind of seat is that? I've got a Danny Gray solo but it sits me down too low.

 

Hi WAhog, I also have a question about your seat. My '09 has 2 bolts to attach a solo, however yours appears to have only one. Is the '08 different from the '09? Sorry to change the topic.

 

My 08 is the same as yours JR. I have 2 bolts holding the rear of my seat.

 

they all use two bolts to hold down the stock seat. most aftermarket seats use one hold down bolt,using one of the holes already in the fender and the h-d std thru fender nut,bolt and plastic clip.
