I have never had a problem with mine and I've riden in some serious storms. However I was concerned about it at the time. I do have and use my soft lowers in bad weather and hold my right leg over the intake to help keep water out. This is doing 65-70 mph on the toll way with traffic up my ****!!! I remember lookin at a car next to me with some chicks in the back seat givin me the thumbs up. That one was a good 90 min. ride in thunderstorms with funnel clouds at night, I don't want to ride in anything like that again... I don't have anymore concerns about it, and by the way it's a carbed bike.

Granted we dont get many rainstorms here in Arizona, I have been through a few during the monsoon season and have had no problems.. My does have a sock that is permanently mounted on the air cleaner (kurakyn Corsair) so dont have to worry about it..
