Its up to you, not us. How are you going to ride it and how long are your rides.
What looks good to you, and what feels more comfortable to you.
These are only a couple of the questions "you" need to answer before anyone here is going to be able to give a rational and logical answer to your question.

Both are nice lookin' bikes. The dyna will be faster, handle better, more comfortable, the X-bones is pretty bad a** loking bike though. tough choice depends what you want it for. I say dyna.

I've had both and the Crossbones is all around a better ride.

Hate to get off topic. Hey Z Bob, which seat is that you have on that Cross Bones? Is that the one from NYC Choppers? How comfy is it compared to the stock seat?

Now as far as which bike to get. I was in the same boat about a yr ago. I was all set to get a Street Bob and then the Cross Bones came out. For me it was easy. The Cross Bones was the look and feel I was looking for. I say go test ride both and weight out your options.

I would go for x-bones every time. My brother has just sold his street bob, at 250lbs it was far too small for him and he couldnt get comfortable. In my opinion a Dyna is a step down from a Softail

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. (I always wanted to say that and I don't know why)
Go to a dealer and sit on both of them and dream a little.
