This is actually on my dads bike. He is trying to get the dash of the tank. He removed the screw on the choke lever in the middle of the tank and the dash got loose but would not come off. It seems like it is being held on by the ignition switch,****, what ever you call it. Any other ideas????

Did you remove the trip meter ****? That and the choke cable nut should be the only thing holding it. It should wiggle around and pull off. The switch and the speedo often interfere with pulling it off.

 

thanks, the trip **** is off as well. I did not see it but he told me it was loose after he took those off. He was just afraid to pull it and brake something. Just wanted to make sure their was nothing else to remove.
