Default Headlight modulator question about dash high-beam indicator

I have installed a Comagination headlight modulator on my 2005 FLSTC. I read somewhere that when operating the modulator would also pulse the instrument high-beam light. Mine instrument light does not pulse. Does anyone here with a softail and a modulator of any brand notice their high-beam indicator pulsing?

The reason I would like the pulsing is so that I can know if the modulator is in fact operating. Otherwise, the only time I could tell is when I come upon a street sign that will reflect the modulating or perhaps when I came up on the rear end of a car. Thanks
