Default Where to mount rocker lights?

Guys,

Looking for opinions here. I am relocating my rear lights on my rocker. i have a set of Heartland medium billet tears ready to be mounted. I was thinking about mounting them about an inch above the swingarm, as close to the seat as possible. Does anyone else have any ideas?

I've checked clearences, and everything looks good. I only have one shot to drill the holes, so I don't want to screw up!!

thanks

if yr talkin about blinkers i suggest you locate them to the garage in a basket somewhere

with the tail light, get a sidemount license plate with a break light attached
