I am very happy to see this post as I ordered the exact same pipes for my xbones. I am glad to see I made the right choice, it looks friggin awesome. Did you end up running SERT/PAK/PCIII or were the pipes a direct install no chip?

well ya asked what we think soooo......

i think both the bike and the pipes are awesome, just not together, the crossbones is a retro throwback style bike and those pipes are super modern style, i just don't think they fit together, but then again thats the beauty of this whole thing, i love the hell outta my scoot and i have had others say.....well say alot LOL

The pipes fit perfectly...i am sure it will need a re-map of some sort but it is running very good with no tune...i'm either going with a stage 1 download or a PCV...havent decided yet...

i think they look good BUT not the best i think that it could look...i think this style of bike needs more of a straight style exhaust that flows with the bike...these pipes have a slight curve...i may modify them in a month or two OR i'll order another set of hookers and work on those...

the sound is awesome though...

Looks good. The X-Bones isnt so retro that you can't run pipes like that. Good choice. And I wouldnt cut em.
