Default Panecea Taillight only?

Can I run a Kuryakyn Panecea taillight by itself without outboard turn signals? Is there a resistance thing i need to worry about? 2001 FLSTFI

I am removing the front signal bullets and putting on a set of LED signal mirrors as well, so bye bye bullets...just wondering what I need to do to fool the wiring into working.

Becareful, some states require at least seven inches between right and left turn signals. I've seen a lot of bikes running just the tail lite with the integral turn signals and they probably haven't had any problems. Might want to check the vehicle code in your state. IMO they just don't make you very visible in the daylight.

you might need a controller to keep them from blinking fast.

I doubt the cops ride around with a ruler. but if you inspect it at your local motor vehicles you might not pass

I run the pancea tail light with built in blinkers. No problems at all. I also don't have any front turn signals.

as long as you have one regular bulb on the bike you are ok, if you go all LED then you will need a controller

Thanks for the replys. I don't think Kentucky requires turn signals and where I am located there aren't any inspections. Where do I get a controller? Through Kuryakyn?

You best stick with Kury products. They have anything you need, plus you can't really mix and match LED stuff.
You need to try to keep it all one brand.
