i got the saddlemen explorer with the rider backrest, this thing is comfortable as hell,i got it on ebay for 199, it had some kinda scratch in the leather not a cut just like a discoloration. it looks bulky like it belongs on a tractor or something. my wife made me buy it because before she came along my life was filled with quiet 300-1000 mi days of riding. with the stock seat i was lucky to make it around the block, but when i was home on leave she had no problem riding to KS from KY about 800mi in one day. except for the feezing *** rain but that had nothing to do with the seat. anyway i never knew what i was missing. i have borrowed my uncles and dads baggers before and this is just as comfortable. and i can take it off in 2 minutes if i am riding local. joe

oh yeah she is 5'6" and about 115 if that helps, also she wants to be able to move her feet now she says her knees cramp up. if its not one thing it another

+1 on the Saddlemen Explorer for 2-up
I have had the Saddlemen King Seat, similar but a little more narrow for
the passenger, for 3 years and won't get another MC without one.
The Gel is fantastic...you can't go wrong.
Took a trip to the Grand Canyon last year one month after
back surgery, L5S1,.. some days over 700 miles..... no problem riding...
at night the back got a little stiff.

I have ridden 12 hour days and had had no problems....

keep in mind seats can't fix bad backs, sore knees, arthritis, etc....

I bought a HD sundowner off a guy on here and it was a big improvement over the stock seat for my wife the farthest we have rode in a day has been 350 miles. We still stop ever now and again for a rest but not becuse of our butts. It does push the rider a bit forward.

I put a sundowner on a few days ago and it feels great. After looking at it I decided to return it since the seat was bigger than the bike. Ended up ordering a Mustang Daytripper and hope it feels good when it get here.
