Congrat's to your friend on the purchase of a great bike. I find the Deluxe to have a low center of gravity. It feels much lighter on the road than the running weight of the bike. Most of all, I really like the nostalgic look as it is a great platform from which to make the bike your own. The only thing I don't like is the stock seat and that can be swaped out easy enough. I have yet to do this to mine as I just installed a FLSTS seat rail. So it is looks over long ride comfort for now.

Great bike, lots of aftermarket parts available, reliable. good gas mileage, comes with lots of chrome stock.
