help w/new exhaust, v&h or martin
OK so I've decided to order a rocker c and need some advice on some a/m pipes. i've seen youtube videos of the v&h and marting bros exhaust and they both sound good but it's tough to tell from the compressed video and thru the tiny pc speakers. any thoughts? also since i'm new to the harley scene any thoughts on when to put them on? i want them on from the get go. is there any need to wait, is it ok to slap them on before i take delivery of the bike?

Got my rocker end of last summer...first thing i did was throw V&H big radius's on it...started looking around and every rocker i saw had the same thing on it...less than a 100 miles i had them taken off and had Martin Brother's Shockwaves put on...i got more horse and more torque...i have included a pic of both dyno maps...did i mention better sound and more compliments

I received my Rocker just 2 weeks ago and i bought together with bike also V&H Big Radius pipes. Had same question if i can put them on new bike and asnwer is YES you can from day one, no problem. I am goin to install them in following days.
Regarding your choice, V&H are little bit boring since everyone has them so you will be more special with Martin Bros. I went with V&H just because i was afraid that Martin Bros is louder and i wanted to be more quiet. Also for me is not problem "everyone has them" issue since as i know no one has them in my country :-)
congrats for your bike anyway

+1 The V&H are great pipes, they look and sound great. I haven’t and problems with bluing either 25000+ miles on the pipes. Downside, when I got my 07 Fatboy (probably the first one sold in the U.S.) nobody made pipes for it, so I went to an exhaust shop, bought some O2 bungs, had them welded on a set of pipes for an 06 Fatboy and was the only guy around anywhere who had aftermarket on an 07 Fatty. Six months later, everybody had Big Radius pipes! Bummer! I wish I had gone with something else. Martin Brother’s pipes are awesome, but they are pricier than V&H.
