Wicked !!! Chrome front forks are on my 'wish list', but might stay there for awhile due to the cost !! Anybody have an E-Bay Seller ID or Item # that I can go have a look.

Dusty, It does bolt right up, but there are a couple things that are different. You have to get a 25mm axle, spacers, and bearings.

Since I was ordering new rims, I ordered them with the 25mm bearings. The chrome front end kit comes with the correct spacers you will need in chrome. And I ordered an aftermarket chrome 25mm axle that was $50.00 from my local Indy.

Your slider tubes, rotor, caliper, springs.....all the same! Not sure what a set of bearings would cost ya, but other than that it is only $185! Pretty good deal in my book!

Thanks for all of the compliments guys!

I am not sure if Nil has any more of the kits, but here is her email address: njohnson@stpaulhd.com

She has taken pretty care of me! Good Luck!

Man, now you've got me wanting to order the same kit. Guess I'll need to find out how much I can get the bearings for.

I have one of those cheap chrome front end kits sitting in my garage also. Gave 140 for it thru someone SoftailGirl found. I still need to get mine on.

So this is a relatively easy thing to do? I would like to do mine myself. Any recommendations or "this is what I learned" pointers?

Scoot looks really good so far with the chrome front end. It's amazing how the front end changes the personality of a bike when in chrome.

Thanks Guys! That is the same place I got mine from too. If SofttailGirl lived closer, I would put her's on for her. Thanks again SofttailGirl!

And yeah, it really is pretty easy to do yourself. The only tool that I needed that I did not have was a long reach 6mm allen for a 3/8 inch drive ratchet. Need it to break loose the damping bolt on the very bottom of the boot.
