Any Deluxe riders over 6' tall out there that have had your seat altered? I'm 6'4 and I like the way the stock seat looks but I need to move back off the tank. I'd like to hear from anybody that's had this done good or bad.

check out MeanCityCycles.com A few sent seat out to them for rework for exactly the problem you have with great results. Search this forum also...

 

+1 on MeanCityCycles. My husband has sent two seats to them for modifications, one of them to move him farther back in the seat (on an Ultra though). Good luck!

 

didn't change the seat but took the boards off and did pegs instead...that stretched my legs out some

 

I pulled my seat apart and shaved it down a bit. I guess it is better now. I also put on some Kury MK IV to streach out. That helped out a lot. Still looking for a new seat but I like my grab rail so I have been thinking of just taking it to a shop around the house and having them re-work it.

Both mods together will get you 4" forward movement, but you will loose your stock deluxe boards with the first one, second mod keeps the factory boards but moves them and the controls 2" forward.
