hey tom, quick question. when i did my tank lift, i took off the bolt on the fron of the tank and the one on top on the back by the seat. i tried to pick up the gas tank after disconnecting the fuel line but it wouldnt budge that easy, is there any more screws or wires that keep the tank from coming off? i was only able to lift the front of the tank rocking it left and right and pulling on it. i bearly got the bracket for the lift in there.

sounds like you didn't disconnect the fuel crossover lines that run under your tank...you need to take at least one side off in order to be able to lift it up easily...remember drain your tank first...look toward the front of your tank underneath and you will see the line.
