Dude those hangers are sick. I am not looking at going that tall cause maybe 10 or 12 inch. i am trying to find pictures as to what it will look like for a 1992 softail custom. I know most of you guys are riding rockers. Did those bars come pre-drilled or did you drill it out to run the wires? This is my first harley and i am planning on keeping it for a LONG time. It on has 24,xxx miles on it for a 92. I hope i didn't hijack the thread.

naw those bars work sweet w/ my set up cuz triple tree
is like same length so all lines up,holes in bars w/ string for runnin
wires through big pita w/ z bars trust me,look in this thread to see what i used
i think it was electricians lube this thread i dune got lots of info
for this project also see mojones thread "handlebar change with pics"
i know they sell those in 10 or 12 " i love em im stoked i did all this
im mechanically inclined and the service manual is a MUST BUY

The apes and rear fender came out great, do the front signals or plate mount scrape during turns?

Finally! I was wondering if you would ever finish. lol Well the bars look awesome and you got it all done yourself. Something about doing the work yourself that makes it even better...especially when it still works after you put it back together! Nice job dude.

lol yep when it works is good.now if i can do it anybody can
i owe you a big THANK YOU you had the og handlebars i always wanted apes
but the ones you picked just looked perfect,the other set i was eye balling
was arlen ness but those only came in 18"S glad i went with these bad boys
thanks for your help during this process, & oh yeah btw you all rock

oops sorry not yet im going so slow around turns getting used to these
they are way comfy but turning is completely different,at least for me
i was trying to see if turn sigs would hit hard to see em while riding
ill check tonite goin for a quick putt,still debating on putting cover back on
pipes.hmmmm
