A couple of questions for you. The narcelle on your Fatboy, is it a HD (Road King) narcelle or aftermarket? And the highway peg's you have installed on the footboards, do you remember where you bought them? Thanks in advance.

 

I can't be sure about the nacelle as I had them put on by a local custom shop. Just told him I wanted a nacelle and next day it was there. He happens to be located next door to Rockville HD so maybe. Thing is, as appearance goes, I think the nacelle makes a huge difference. It goes along with the "chunky (fat)" theme. Next time I pull them off I'll see if there's any markings on the inside and I'll PM you.

As for the pegs, they are Kuryakin. They were a bit of a bear to install (because of me) but they make a big difference on long trips. I just looked at their site and they seem to have an updated version.

I'll keep the posts coming for as long as I make progress. Today was a bit of a downer. I tried to install the new pickup for the speedo and I couldn't route the cable through the rear. I finally figured the rear tire probably needs to come off to get in there.
