night train question
i am so close to trading my 07 deuce for a 09 train,,one thing holding me back is riding position. usually I wouldnt care to much coming from rockets to harleys in the the last 2 years but i plan on spending a lot more time on the bike this summer (my deuce has 6,000) on it Im hoping to put that on the odometer this summer alone...my question is how comfortable or uncomfortabe is the train,, with stock bars and or with say, slammers?

There are a lot of t-bars that will move the controls toward you a few inches and still use stock cables--for a couple hundred dollars. Spend a couple hundred more on new cables and you can throw any kind of bars on there--including duece bars. If you like everything else about the train, don't let the bars hold you back.

The Night Train has a low, stretched out, aggressive riding position...no, it's not for everyone, but it suits my riding style...I spent a few years and $$ modifying bikes that kept ending up styled like a Train till I just said fck it, pulled the trigger and got one...I have the stock bars which I love, and a LePera Silhouette solo seat with gel, that keeps my *** happy...a lot of my friends have touring bikes and I've done 500-600 miles a day right beside them...and yeah, they love to swap bikes once in awhile and I have to threaten them to get my Train back...this bike is my keeper...and I'll be 60 this year, so age has nothing to do with it...https://www.hdforums.com/forum/membe...ht-train-2.jpg
