I would probably put a q tip up the vent hose to see if there is any oil on the inside walls of the vent hose. If that is where the oil came from, there would probably still be a little in the hose. Just a guess.

i thought the Amsoil Severe Gear was red in color. I like Bel ray in my trans. it is red. you could take a sample to auto parts store and maybe they can tell you what it is.

I would have to agree I think it's the trans vent line. There are only two vent lines the trans and the fuel tank vent. I think the fuel vent is on the right side and the trans is on the left

It generally doesn't stay red forever, in many cases it starts to turn brown/black relatively quickly. Not as quick as the engine or primary since they have other factors like combustion or clutch plate crap to contend with. But even a transmission will dirty up the oil in time.

The amsoil severe gear is not red at all. It is more brown/amber like normal oil. I found the tranny vent, and I don't think it's coming out of there. THe tranny vent just sits right above the tranny cover under the oil tank. I have looked up and down this thing. I cleaned the entire area and replaced the plastic mudguard with the polished stainless steel one. I will just keep an eye on it. I pulled the battery too, there is no leaks in the any of the welds of the oil tank either.

Well if its not the tranny, I'm stumped.
The only thing I can say is for a while make sure that whenever you park it make sure the floor is clean underneath and see if it reappears.
If it does, try to track it back now that you have a better idea of the actual physical relationship of all the different bits and pieces that can potentially leak.
