Default Solo seat = hole in fender?

What have you done to fill in the bolt hole from the stock seat on the back fender when going to a solo seat?

Here is what I did...
Less is more. Form and function. Total cost about $1.20 at OSH (orchard supply hardware), just pop 'em in.

I have a chrome cap from harley for the hole with the nut in it and a rubber plug for the other hole. I am changing chrome cover to one of these.

Best photo I have of it but you can see the plastic chrome cap that just screws in the hole.
Picked it up from local dealership and it cost either .25 or .50 cents.

They apparently don't make a fender bib for Fatboy's prior to 07? So, yesterday I put the Mustang fender bib
that I bought thinking it fit the Fatboy FLST/FLSTS but actually fit the Springer. Salesman confirmed that FLST
originally identified the FLST(F) but apparently not any longer. Anyway, he offered to send FEDEX out to pick
up the bib at no charge to me but I told him I'd think on it. Yesterday I had the holes, for the Springer, covered
and leather patches glue on the underside to protect the paint. I punched a hole at the end to put a screw in
place of the plastic push on clip that holds, what looks like the electrical wiring coming from the brake light
and turn signals. I'm please with the outcome, it looks like it was made for it. I will take photos either tonight
or tomorrow and post them.

My dealer(stealer) charged me $4.97 for the same cap. It was in a Harley bag and with a Harley part number.

wow... maybe he charged me for the wrong part? OR maybe I'm wrong but I sure
don't remember paying that much. I guess be prepared to pay $5 but hope you
get lucky and pay less, like I THINK I did.

On second thought I've been in there a few times and paid a few cents for various
little nuts & bolts and things. So maybe I'm confused with one of those visits. But,
I still don't remember paying that much but maybe I did? They say your memory
is the first to go?

yes I have taken you off ignore...

question:

chrome plug like the one we were just discussing the price of? Or plain black plug?
I'm just curious because this chrome plug is the only one he offered, probably the
one I would've taken it anyway?
