Anybody got a suggestion for a luggage rack for an 04 Fat Boy with the quick release system? Any suggestions appreciated. I also have the lay down plate mount.

When I purchased my 2003 FatBoy the original owner had installed the 'quick disconnect' setup (leather saddlebags, passenger backrest, and luggage rack)....

I use the luggage rack from time to time as it only takes a couple seconds to install the backrest/luggage rack combination.

 

Not sure if you are looking for a rack when riding solo... Here is a non quick detach rack but works with the detach system installed. Removes easily and quickly, despite not being quick detach. Also, almost 1/3 the price of the hd quick detach rack if that matters..

 

I've been looking for the same set up for my 99 Fatboy. I had a quick detachable for my 2000 Sporty, but haven't been able to find one for the Fatboy.
