We just bought a Heiritage and it handles nice when I am on it by myself. When the wife is on the back the steering is akward. Would it help much to adjust the shocks? It can be a little scary at times turning at a low speed.

Most important, check your tire pressure. You should have 40 rear and 36 front when riding two up. You can air the rear down to 36 for solo riding.
