Default Cant reach the turn signal plug!

Need some help here. I'm relocating the turn signals on my rocker and I'm having some trouble. I can't get to the turn signal plug underneath the tank to disconnect it. I removed the front mounting bolt for the tank but I can only lift it about an inch before wires ect prevent me from going any further. I cannot see a rear mount on the tank so I assume in must just have a tab holding it.

Do I need to take the tank completely off the bike? Do I need to disconnect fuel lines? Do I have to remove the speedo panel?

If its anything like my fxstc its on the right hand side tight to cross bar behind another plug, my tank is off at moment and its still not east to reach with out cutting a cable tie tat holds the cables in place...but i dont think you need to remove tank but poss cross-over line

never touched a rocker.... on my Night Train I had to remove the tank bolt through the frame and the one under the seat to lift the tank up and pull it rearward about 4 inches to give me room to work. Didnt have to remove it from the bike, but had to move it from its normal position.

Remove the rear bolt as well and slide it back as far as it will go. Might wanna disconnect the fuel line so it doesn't break too. Don't ask how I know about this. D'oh!

Thanks for the help so far. Got the forward bolt out and and the cross over line disconnected. Only rear tank bold I see is the one visible from looking down at at it between the seat and tank. Is that the right one? Don't see another one.

Somethings holding this damn thing down. I can lift the tank about 2 in but then it just stops and I can't see whats keeping it from coming the rest of the way. Still not sure I got the right bolt/nut removed for the rear mount.

look for the vent line under the console, maybe on upper right of tank. Also unlug the fuel line from the bottom of the tank. Slide the housing up and the line will pop out.

Buy a manual.

Got it. You have to remove the dash panel to get to the rear tank mount.
