fla. law says shoulder height so as long as your not reaching up you should be ok....

Never heard of risers breaking, but it would look odd IMO with pull back risers. Never hurts to measure for cable length. Good luck man, keep us posted.

I wish I could find some 1 1/4" bars with a narrower width, (33"-34"), but all I've been able to find in a narrow width is the 1" bars. They look alright, but I like the thicker bars better. Form or function. Decisions, decisions.

I just looked on the Carlini site & I see that their Fly'in apes have a 34.5" width, but daaaam they're expensive. The Blems are a $100.00 more than the Buffalos I was looking at. Form & function, or price. Decisions, decisions.

Leaving a side all the compliments I've received from guys that did not even care for apes, let me tell you, they are worth their price. If you can get a set of blems you won't regret it, I searched for apes all over, you name the manufacturer... but the curved design on Carlinis really set the bike apart from the other monkeys
