I'm bidding on some 18" gangster apes, powder coated black on ebay.. ends tomorrow... Hopefully I win.. I'm just confused on 16's or 18's, black or chrome..
Not to throw a kink in your bidding, but I am 5'7 and could not imagine going higher than 14", especially with Carlini, as they are already more like 15 1/2 or so....I also used the diamond 1.25 riser they sell which is a very short riser.
They are 10" center width, 36" from grip to grip, 12.5" rise, and 12" pull back I think. Check the Drag Specialties cataloge. They are way more comfortable than stock. I love'em, thinking of going a bit taller, just for looks. Functionally, these are awesome. If you purchase through zanotti, they give a 20-25% discount. I got all my parts from them.
I think that would be about perfect for me. What are the cable lengths you went with? My bike is a 99 Fatboy, but I would think they would be the same wouldn't they? I couldn't seem to find the Barnett cables on the Zanotti web site.
BTW, I checked out your blog. Loved the poem, & your xmas yard ornaments.
