Why is my bike titled as a FXT?

Why is my bike titled as a FXT?
And it's not a mistake. Went to the dealer yesterday to order some spare keys, and we ran the numbers.
Mine was sold and titled as a FXT.
wierd eh?
Also had the chrome motor kit put on it at the factory.

Well heck, I don't know.
Back in the mid 1980's they had the "FXT" Softail, but the newer Standards have always been the "FXST" as far as I know....
Wonder why they left the "S" out on the bike you have, but then again, I've seen some weird 'bike models' shown on some titles

Mines titled FXS but I ran the numbers and it's a true FXSTS. So who knows???

Would explain all of the other bizarre letter combos on some models. Wonder if they've fired that guy yet....

I don't know. I think he's still at the MoCo in the cubicle next to the guy who thinks up bizarre terms for bike parts, like
jiffy stand and
engine guard .
