HiLo Air Ride Suspension
I am about to pull the trigger on the air ride suspension (and possibly a 21' front wheel) but would like to see a pic of where you guys have mounted the compressor on the HiLo system. The SAS-00 has the compressor built in but the Hi Lo does not.
Just want to see where it goes and how it looks .Heard good reports about this system so looking forward to getting it on the scoot. The SAS-00 is tempting also but a bit more expensive.
Thanks in advance.

You never played golf Moggsy??? Why not put down a little more and get a "whole in one" system? I'm going for the SAS, don't need no stinkin' separate compressor!

What happens when that internal one goes out? they do go bad. All of them!!! internal or not. I bought the HI LO because i have heard good things, there customer service is great and there is lifetime warranty on the shocks and two years on the compressor. Call and the guys there will tell you everything you need to know. I will have pics of mine next week. Got a heavy breather and a heartland front fender to.

man im getting ready to do the same early spring. the SAS looks great and less complicated to install/operate. the only thing thats a plus about the hi/low air ride system is the warranty. vs the SAS 1 yrs. do you guys know were the cheapest place to buy the SAS? not to mention that the hi/low was $799.00 and now it jumped back up to $1099.00

Sounds about perfect to me. The seperate compressor mounts below the transmission and out of sight.
Personally, I don't trust the SAS system. What happens when something goes wrong? It's a major job. It's got to be a microscopically small compressor also.
Talk to me about SAS in a couple of years..
If something goes wrong with the Shotgun, you only lose the ability to adjust it until a new compressor arrives. The shock remains totally inflated. A few minutes to replace and you are ready to roll.
Lots of new stuff coming out, and history does tell us that they are not perfect. So, you better select the right unit that will be easy to fix if there is a problem.
