http://www.washingtonchoppers.com/lightspage.htm. scroll to the very bottom. this is what i am using with a lighted led frame that cost 40. just ran the wires from the rear light to the new bracket. under 100 spent. mounted it to the hole for the footpeg.

I recently installed the Kuryakyn side mount (3173), while yeah the brackets are rectangular and our swing arm is oval, the smaller rectangular fitting will work, what i found after sinching it down as far as she'll go is there was probably a 1/4 inch of play (it moves back and forth) but this can EASILY be corrected simply by dropping in some rubber tubing around the swing arm. not sure if anyone else who installed this part had the same problem, but it was a very simple fix.

Yep, i used the smaller bracket with a bit off rubber on the inside so it doesn't scratch the paint on the swingarm. Its a bit of a bugger to get at the set screws but it does tighten up. be sure to use loctite though.

I'm sure the larger bracket will be much easier to install with rubber tubing, but I used just some pieces of inner tube in there, cut it to the right sizes dropped in some removable thread sealer and called it a night on the smaller bracket since it fits closer to the swing arm than the larger one. Adding the rubber did make things a little more tighter but several hand cramps later everything fits good, will drop in some pictures after harley opens up so i can get something to cover up that last hole...

I made one that bolted to the belt cover and someone walked by and hit and broke the factory weld that was on the tab to the swing arm.
